DIY Metallic Pumpkin Arrangement

Hey loves! I haven't posted in a few weeks because I'm recovering from a recent back surgery. All went well I'm just unable to move around as quickly as usual. BUT I refuse to let that stop me from enjoying FALL and all the fun activities that come with it! (would you??) As soon as I was feeling a little better I went out and picked up a few pumpkins for a fun DIY project. I saw the picture below on Pinterest (where else) and realized that I had a similar iron stand and loved the look of the metallic colors together. So I recreated my own version for my place!
For this project I picked up a few faux pumpkins from the $1 store and some real smaller ones from a local grocery store. I chose to completely cover most of them with silver, gold, and bronze spray paint..half-dipped some of the white pumpkins, and left a few natural two-toned pumpkins as is. Below you can see the steps and completed look.

For some added interest, I arranged some faux leaves as well as sunflower accents in between and around the pumpkins inside the basket.

Hope you enjoyed<3

I highly recommend Frank and his team for any brides out there interested in a videographer. Not only does he have a 5 star rating on all top wedding websites, but in person he was SO professional and accommodating. Apartment Therapy

Welcome to my apartment!
So this is my very first place..a one bedroom garden apartment. It's only about 700 square feet BUT its charming and bright.. and for now, it works! I moved in the middle of May and plan to stay here for a year or two. With this is mind I went with furniture that fit my desired decor..but didn't cost a lot (in case it doesn't fit/function wherever I live next). I wanted to keep a shabby chic feel..while still being functional and cat friendly <3 All major furniture came from Ikea, Amazon, Homegoods, Marshalls, Christmas Tree Shops, or yard sales!
Make yourself at home<3

Mad About PLAID!

Happy September!!
As I'm sure most of you are..I was reluctant to kiss summer goodbye and face the fact that cooler temperatures are on their way. But once those apple pie scented candles hit shelves at bath & body works..and the pumpkin spice latte returns to Starbucks..something inside my brain clicks and I realize how much I LOVE fall!

To kick off my first fall fashion look, I'm wearing one of this years hottest trends, plaid! It's always a fall favorite & so easy to wear. For this post I went with the traditional button down blouse and paired it with my favorite high waisted jeans & accessories. Wishing you all so much fun this fall<3
