Today I thought I'd share my babies nursery with you <3
I started researching nursery decor from the moment I found out I was pregnant. I knew no matter what the sex would be that I wanted a soft, cozy space for my baby. When I learned we were having a girl I immediately envisioned an elegant, feminine and whimsical space. My goal was to incorporate a fair balance of beiges and blush tones, with a few touches of gold.
The swans kind of happened by accident lol! I was in pottery barn kids making my registry when I first came across the precious swan mobile by Monique Lhuillier. I HAD to have it (..despite not having a single other swan related item) From that moment on I started seeing swans EVERYWHERE (seriously..like as in every single baby department of every. single. store!) So thats how the rest of the swans appeared! I tried not to overdo it..just a few here and there..hopefully I succeeded :) In the end I absolutely LOVE how the nursery turned out, it's just how I envisioned.
Sometimes my husband & I go in and just lay on her rug at night & listen to the mobile music play..we can't wait for our sweet angel to arrive <3
